Maronzio Vance 

May 21-24

Maronzio Vance is a Los Angeles based writer, actor, and comedian. His blunt, sarcastic and witty style has landed him appearances on Wanda Sykes: Wanda Does It, Jamie Foxx’s Laffapolooza, Last Comic Standing, and The Tonight Show.

In 2012 Maronzio wrote on Fox’s pilot remake of In Living Color and shot a half hour special for Comedy Central that same year. In 2014 he was a regular on Fox’s comedy series Enlisted and has appeared in several national Miller Lite Commercials.

Maronzio’s curmudgeonly nature paired with raw intelligence is highlighted in his debut comedy album Laughmatic, where he seamlessly moves from deep political commentary to extremely relatable complaints of the average American experience. With a comfortable stage presence, he continues to tell stories and perform stand-up regularly throughout Los Angeles and all around the country. His passion for hip-hop, sports, and comics becomes apparent through his engaging commentary on stage. He can now be seen starring in Lopez, a new TV Land series starring George Lopez, as a series regular, essentially playing himself, as the character Maronzio.

Jordan Rock

Actor and comedian Jordan Rock is best known for his three seasons as “Kevin” on Judd Apatow’s Netflix series Love.

Jordan recently appeared in the Netflix film The After Party and Big Time Adolescence starring Pete Davidson, which premiered at Sundance in 2019. Jordan has appeared on FX’s Totally Biased, Gotham Comedy Live, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He can also be seen in the Netflix feature film Take The 10, starring opposite Josh Peck and Tony Revolori.

Rock was named one of Just For Laugh’s “New Faces to Watch” at the 2016 Montreal Festival. In 2016, Jordan shot the lead role in the Comedy Central pilot Drunk Girl, High Guy.

Nate Jackson

In the not so distant future, when the first urban comedy dictionary is finally published, there will be a short list of definitions and references under the word “electrifying.” At the top of that list, taking up the majority of the page will be a smiling, action photo of a young stand-up comedian and future comedy Hall of Famer, 2010 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition winner and cast member of Nick Cannon’s Wild’n Out, Nate Jackson.

From the moment he takes the stage and grabs the microphone, until he puts it to rest, back in its stand, you can actually feel the electric comedy energy surging through your body, in the form of constant laughter, and on your way out of the club or theatre and even into the next day, you’re still feeling the comical and in some cases, medicinal effects of experiencing a Nate Jackson comedy show.

A born entertainer and showman, Nate doesn’t need the first few minutes of his act to “warm up” or for the crowd to warm-up to him before he starts getting funny. Kate Quigley

Kate Quigley is a standup comedian & actress. She has hosted the 2016 AVN Awards. Widely known as the “up-for-anything” star of “Undercover” on Playboy TV, Kate’s other TV credits include “The Office”, “The Josh Wolf Show”, “The Danny Comden Project”, “The Megan Mullally Show”, and “Talkshow with Spike Feresten”.

She also hosts a show, “The Hollywood Pool Party” on Periscope TV (with over 20,000 veiws per ep) & makes recurring appearances on Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital network. 

Kate recently began touring as a headlining comedian, and is a regular at the Improv, Laugh Factory, Icehouse, and Haha Comedy Club in Hollywood. She recently returned from an Armed Forces Tour, performing for troops in Japan, Singapore, Guam, and Diego Garcia.

Jimmy Shubert

Jimmy Shubert has built an impressive resume as an actor, both in film and on television. He can currently be seen in a movie entitled “American Nightmares” with Danny Trejo, Vivica Fox and, Jay Morh on Cinemax. He also just wrapped filming scenes in a new movie entitled “Puppy Love” with Hopper Penn, Michael Madsen and, Rosanne Arquette heading for a major theatrical release. As a comedian, he is one of the busiest comedians working today. After becoming a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and, being seen on Comedy Central as the closing act on Dave Atell’s Comedy Underground. He also just wrapped post- production on his brand new hour special entitled “Zero Tolerance”.

From headlining A list comedy clubs, casinos, theaters across the country. Shubert’s New-hour special ‘Zero Tolerance” is a theatrical presentation of Shubert’s stand-up persona of a blue collar working man’s man. He combines the outlook of a modern-day Archie Bunker with an utterly real world sensibility to create signature pieces of comedy, on Therapy cats, Smart Phones, Male grooming and, the dumbing down of America. Shubert loves playing the part of a pop culture Iconoclast.

In television, Shubert is also known for his recurring role on “King of Queens” for five years and several appearances on “Entourage”. Jimmy has a wide range as an actor and has played everything from a prison guard in a hostage crisis to a murder victim on “Monk.” He’s worked with such marquee names as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Katie Holmes, Kevin James, James Caan and the late Robin Williams. On the small screen, He recently did a guest star on IFC’s  ”Maron”,  ABC’s “Back in the game” with James Caan,  on the CBS comedy “2 Broke Girls”, He played Betty Whites neighbor. He appeared on Disney’s hit show “Zeke and Luther” as Bobby Dicey”-World’s Greatest Daredevil, and “Barely Legal” a pilot presentation about a dysfunctional family law firm, other TV credits include Heist, The Loop, ER, Reno 911, Rude Awakenings, Angel, Lucky, New Car Smell, Sonny with a chance” and Youth In Revolt.

A Philly native, growing up as the son of a Philadelphia Detective wasn’t easy for Jimmy. He says “It was like having Lieutenant Colombo as a roommate, most of my childhood was an interrogation scene from Law & Order ”. Jimmy and his band of six brothers were always getting into trouble, and being the middle child, Jimmy learned at an early age that a sense of humor could get him through any situation. He attended the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts and Majored in Drama. It was from those experiences in acting class that Jimmy knew he wanted to pursue a career in Show Business. Jimmy took an interest in Magic at 9 years old and by the age of 15, jimmy he had become an accomplished professional magician. He later channeled that energy into stand-up comedy. His unique ability to see the humor in social trends and deliver his poignant and hilarious point of view on world issues has made Shubert one of the most respected and original comedians working today.

Jimmy started performing right out of high school in comedy clubs around the Philly area. He later moved to Los Angeles and started working at the Comedy Store. It was at the Comedy Store where he later met Sam Kinison, and after taking him offstage on a Motorcycle at the Comedy Store’s Main room in front of a packed house, they became fast friends . Kinison liked Shubert’s cockeyed chutzpah and included him as one of the original “Outlaws of Comedy” which he toured with for five years, playing major casinos in Las Vegas and other venues like the Universal Amphitheater in front of audiences as large as 6,500 people. In 1997, after a well recognized performance at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, he was spotted by the late Brandon Tartikoff , who signed Jimmy to a holding deal to develop a pilot sitcom for him to star in at 20th Century Fox, which led to another holding deal and then finally a Pilot.

Jimmy’s comedy routine is usually performed with an observational point of view, in comedic short-story form, and typically focuses on poking fun at pop culture. As AllMusic.com put it, “His confidence and lucid delivery enhances his humor, making even his most perverse moments hilarious.

Langston Kerman 

June 25-June 28

Langston Kerman is a LA based comedian, writer and actor. He currently appears alongside Lake Bell and Dax Shepard as ‘Brandon’ on the ABC series Bless This Mess. Langston’s Comedy Central Half-Hour Special aired in September 2018 along with the release of his debut comedy album “Lightskinned Feelings.” Langston wrote for and plays ‘Adam Bethune’ on the Comedy Central series South Side, which was just picked up for a 2nd season. He also has recurred as ‘Jared’ on the HBO series Insecure. Langston’s other credits include Sherman’s Showcase (IFC), The New Negroes (Comedy Central), High Maintenance (HBO), Adam DeVine’s House Party (Comedy Central), and Strangers (Facebook Watch). Langston was a part of Chris Rock’s writing staff for the 2016 ACADEMY AWARDS, and in 2015 he was honored as a ‘New Face’ at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
